I grew up in Cranston, RI, and now live in the beautiful town of Waltham, MA with my husband and step-daughter. My initial interest in art was sparked as a child, by a drawing set I received for my birthday. I realized that when I let myself get lost in creating, everything else would disappear! Today, I am an artist, and an art teacher. I earned my degree at Rhode Island College, and have been taking art courses throughout the RI/MA area ever since. These workshops include RI School of Design, Primary Source, Peabody Essex Musem, DeCordova Sculpture Park & Museum, and those through the RI Art Educator's Association.

My artwork focuses on the simple pleasures in life. Each time I create a new piece, I strive to capture the body and soul of my subject matter. Included in my galleries are some of my paintings, drawings, and photography.

As a visual arts educator, I have the opportunity to instill an appreciation, and love for art, to my students. I have been teaching art for 15 years, in the Cranston Public Schools (RI), and I teach art to high school students. I am available for art instruction in MA & RI area. Instruction can be at your home, or at a plein aire location. Artists of all ages are welcomed!
